All of our tragedies of dead innocents ….. Some care. The bums don’t give a damn and just want to be protected and on top.
Two dead policemen take the sting out of left leaning protests and causes …. treated as a twisted gift by those in opposition to same …. treated as a way station to see enemies use the blood as a hammer, friends to run away from knee jerk anti police feelings.
All of our tragedies of dead innocents bring out the battle lines and the scripts and those who huff and puff and yearn to be free to have dismal arguments based upon faulty premise.
We just always jump around and sniff ourselves.
We meander, wonder, rag, entreat, moan, groan.
We dabble.
What are police for?
To protect and serve?
To manage and control?
To serve the interests of power?
To serve the interests of the disenfranchised?
Tough dirty job with the ever challenging threats of corrupting power ….seen too little in some … seen too much in others.
The lay citizen want peace, protection, law, order. The lay citizen wants not to back abuse of power.
The issues swarming around a complicated world.
Some care.
