Now all the newly empowered scions of wonderful in the halls of government and public policy want to put on their big boy pants and show that they are worthy of taking daddy’s flivver out for a ride to the prom without burning the rubber or clanking the fenders ….. dirtying the back seat is still on the table.
The mommies and daddies who stroke them and feed them and dress them and bleed them look bemusedly as the wonders puff out their chests and declare their snarls and missions and dances and songs.
