The fine folk that they are ….. the accomplished folk that they be …… bless ’em and keep ’em as they think and act as mini minds echoing mini thoughts echoing mini fraternity and sorority games echoing mini fraternity and sorority games and themes echoing the masses drivel as they fight to be the craftiest adolescents in the crafty leagues of their heightened smallness …… all of that to which they strove and died for …. all of their pinnacles of public achievement … their platforms from which they can be dim, dumb and pedantic; childish; small, venal, dishonored, fake; sans adult sensibilities, sans street smarts and understandings, sans wisdom, sans standing, sans gravitas, knowledge, perspective or worth.
They strive. Oh they strive. They strive. They can be the puppet master’s worst selves.
